Le chinois de Tapei, Chuang Chih-Yuan, a remporté ce dimanche 14 août l’Open du Chili qui s’est déroulé à Santiago. Il a battu en finale le joueur argentin d’origine chinoise Liu Song. Mené 0-3, il parviendra cependant à recoller au score avant de s’imposer au 7ème set (9-11, 6-11, 12-14, 11-9, 11-7, 13-11, 11-3.).
C’est le 2ème succès dans un tournoi du Pro Tour pour Chuang Chih-Yuan classé au 12ème rang mondial.
